Hi, I’m Dylan Whitney — a photographer, videographer, and visual storyteller with a deep curiosity for the world around me.

My journey with photography began with a simple desire to notice things differently. The more I photographed, the more I realized that a camera can do more than capture a moment — it can change the way we see one. A quiet landscape, an animal in its natural habitat, a fleeting expression, or a place that most people pass without a second thought can become a story when we take the time to truly notice it.

That is what I seek to do with my work.

I’m especially drawn to nature, wildlife, people, and the connections between them. In a world that moves faster every day, I believe there is something powerful about slowing down, looking around, and remembering that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves. I want my work to encourage people to do exactly that.

My goal is to build a career that takes me beyond familiar places and into the field — traveling, exploring, documenting, and telling stories that matter. Whether I’m photographing wildlife, filming a documentary, or meeting someone whose story deserves to be heard, I want every project to leave an impression.

I’m still early in my journey, and that’s something I embrace. I’m constantly learning, experimenting, getting things wrong, trying again, and chasing the next story. I’m not interested in simply creating images that look good. I want to create work that makes people stop, feel something, and maybe see the world a little differently than they did before.

Ultimately, I want to stay curious, stay connected to nature, and use my camera as a way to move people — because sometimes all it takes is seeing something from a different perspective to realize how extraordinary the world really is.
